Catching Up with Bill Henderson
We were lucky enough to catch up with member favorite Bill Henderson (if you haven’t heard of him, he’s an expert on healing cancer naturally) and talk to him about all things cancer-free, common questions he hears from people following his protocol, and what he’s been up to lately (like his recent trip to beautiful Lake Tahoe, CA). In the coming months, we’re going to be talking to Bill regularly and picking his brain to bring you his take on beating cancer without poisoning your cells with chemotherapy and radiation. This guy knows his stuff!
Today, we’re talking about one of his favorite supplements for boosting the immune system: liposomal vitamin C.
Bill Henderson on Building Collagen With High Dose Vitamin C
- Q: You mention liposomal vitamin C in your book as being a good alternative to IV vitamin C therapy. Why are you a fan of liposomal vitamin C?
- A: I always urge people to look up the term liposomal – it’s just a gel form of vitamin C that uses liposomes to make it easier for your body to absorb the vitamin. This more bioavailable form is about 10 times as effective as the pill form. Basically, it’s very good at getting a large amount of vitamin C to the cells quickly. The other reason I love liposomal vitamin C is that it’s a lot less expensive than going to a doctor and getting intravenous vitamin C therapy.
- Q: What are the benefits of high dose vitamin C?
- A: Vitamin C creates and strengthens collagen in the blood vessels and boosts the immune system. I always tell people that cancer happens when a malfunctioning metabolism has exceeded the immune system’s ability to correct it. If you heal the immune system, you can beat the cancer.
Collagen makes arteries both stronger and more elastic, which also makes it more difficult for cancer cells to spread. This discovery is what made Linus Pauling famous – he found that a combination of vitamin C, l-lysine, and l-proline could help keep arteries healthy (that’s the basis of your Heart Plus product, as you know). When the cells aren’t functioning properly, it’s important to hit them with vitamin C in high doses, and liposomal vitamin C is definitely the best source if cost is an issue.
