Omega-3 Breakfast Boost: Avocado Chia Smoothie
With ripe avocado and soaked chia seeds, this smoothie is a quick and easy way to up your intake of omega-3s first thing in the morning (and it tastes great too!).
- 1 ripe avocado
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1-inch piece ginger
- ½ of a pineapple (or two cups frozen chunks)
- 1-2 scoops Constant Health Daily
- 1 cup ice
- Soaked chia seeds
Soak chia seeds in water in a ratio of 1:10 (chia to water) for about 10 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Blend all the ingredients except the chia seeds. Stir in chia seeds after ingredients are blended and enjoy!
