Pet Photo Contest Winner: Bouncing Basenji’s

Member Marj of Seattle inspired us with her love for her animals and her commitment to rescuing animals in need! She sent us several photos of her pack of basenjis as well as her manx cats.  Our favorite is this one of two basenjis playing together on an artful backdrop.  Marj has a total of 4 basenjis: Angel, Jaro, Sanji, and Gumbo.  Angel and Jaro were initially fosters from Basenji Rescue and Transport but after one day in their house, and immediate acceptance from Gumbo and Sanji, Marj and Jim knew that Angel and Jaro were meant to join their pack for life.  Marj has shared many photos and tips about training rescue dogs and earning their trust on Basenji Rescue and Transport’s blog.  Check out our blog for more photos of the family.
